As with a previous reviewer, we found this dentists' billing practices to be suspect. My wife went to Dr. Barlow with an infected tooth. I spoke with the dentist after a quick examination about what she'd do and how she'd bill the insurance and that it would be no more than $85.00 -- regardless of what the insurance covered. We agreed to the services and she fixed the tooth. Of course in a few weeks our insurance sent us a letter notifying us that one of procedures performed weren't covered and they'd only pay $600.00 of the $700.00. A $100.00 medical bill isn't so bad, but what was a little surprising was that the extra service performed was cosmetic and, although we talked about all the other services, she had omitted the 'deep clean' on the other quadrants. This felt extremely deceiving. She may be a good dentist - but as with the other reviewer, I don't think her billing practices are particularly trustworthy.
