Middle Patuxent Environmental Area

Fantastic walk! Very well maintained, clean, quiet!! Fantastic place to get some peace and quite. Fun place for the pups (and kitties if applicable). Full loop takes little over one hour. It is an on-leash park and picking up is required. Every time we have gone have seen maybe one person!

It is beautiful wilderness area. Good hiking but does not have defined trails, true wilderness

Went on a Monday afternoon. It was very peaceful and at the fork in the trail we were greeted by so many butterflies and a curious fawn.
