"This Must Be The Place" You know when you walk into a place and you immediately feel comfortable, less stressed and at ease? Market Tavern is that place! The atmosphere is welcoming -- there's a great bar and an awesome market with great local and foodie finds. I'm a huge proponent of local food/drink, so it's really great to see Market Tavern as a purveyor local and unique items. Also, the food is SO good! They have tapas which is perfect for me because I usually like to try a few different items (hard for me to make a decision!!) All in all, I think Market Tavern is worth the trip to Sykesville. You can walk along Main Street and pop into shops before parking it on a bar stool and enjoying local pours and eats! There's also great hiking in the area!
