Wet City

A local bar with a unique and interesting rotating selection of beers. They serve decent food, but not a large selection. The focus here is definitely on trying some new beers you can't find anywhere else and may never have heard of before. The place has an artsy vibe that suits the area of the city it's located in. Good happy hour deals!

The tap list at this bar has gems from time to time which is what gets most people in the door. I had been going here for some time with friends but after the continued lack of courtesy and rudeness from the staff I will not be returning. I like to support local business but my last experience pushed me over the edge. On a Thursday I went to Wet City with my roommate, I asked to have a growler fill. The bartender negatively reacted, acted as if I was asking the world. The bartender told me "I don't have time guy to fill your growler, you're gonna have to wait at least 20 - 30 minutes". Next thing I know he then closes our tab and hands us the check unprompted. I felt rushed out of the bar and that my business was not valued. I will not be returning, I am very disappointed.
