I’m sorry to all the Walmart lovers out there but I hate Walmart. I mean I love their prices, but their quality sucks and on top of that their customer service is even worse! I have been to a couple of them and it seems to be the norm (like Kmart). That being said this particular Walmart, on this particular trip went like this: a coworker and I went to pick up a school picture our department made. I didn’t know where the photo department was and I was looking for it in the front but couldn’t find it. I went up to a manager, right in front of him because the other employee who I tried asking walked away, but this guy kept on talking across and carrying on his conversation with a cashier. I waited. And waited. Finally he acknowledged me and I was able to ask: where is the photo department And do you sell watch batteries? (I had to take advantage someone was paying attention) he told me the first answer, didn’t know the second, called someone over to help. This lady comes and walks past us like we don’t exist, the one he called for help, and he continues with his conversation with the cashier. I’m about pissed off, then she reappears when she sees the person who works in jewelry. She calls us over, mind you we are already at a counter in the jewelry section but she want us to go to her at another section-not cool. “What you want?” Really? By this time I was pissed. My coworker was still fine. He asked about the battery for his watch. “Did you buy it here?” No. “ Do you know what battery you need?” (I said this) That’s why we’re asking you. Well I don’t know and I can’t help you because you didn’t buy it here. I was so done! On to photo... guy was nice enough until the end. He came of rude because he didn’t explain himself. Name? Told him. What are you picking up? We told him. We gave him the receipt. Exasperated sigh on his part. Can you tell me what you’re picking up? (OMG! You have the receipt read it!) Told him it was a poster, it dawn on him where to look and he was happy. Then he went on to explain that next time we should be more specific because it makes it easier for him to know where to look for our pictures. Hmmm... fine whatever. I just smiled, thanked him and got out. Prefer Target over Walmart any day. Especially in clothing. Target’s clothing last longer for kids and me! And they are nicer looking!
I arrived just before one in the afternoon and needed new tires installed. It’s nearly four when I see any activity being done on the car. I hope they did a good job cause this is a damn long time for a car to have zero progress on. Would have seemed more efficient to roll the car in when the tech was ready to do actual work instead of trying to appear busy. #Justsayin
