Let me start by saying the actual countertop looks amazing, but the work that happened during installation and the response we've received from customer support has been nonexistent.
- While removing the old countertop to install this one they took a nick out of our drywall and allowed the old countertop to continue running along the wall, and did not acknowledge or attempt to apologize.
- When installing the countertop on our island that we had custom made just two months ago the workers unnecessarily took out lower-level drawers damaging the drawer glider and the soft close function. While they were still on site it was brought their attention and the gentleman just opened and closed the drawer for around 10 minutes saying it was fine. Then he FaceTimed a manager who said the drawer was working fine, which is odd because the manager wasn't on-site and could not make that call without knowing how it worked beforehand. The drawer is noisy, stiff, and has no soft close function anymore.
- The installers cleaned the top of the countertop with a chemical to removed dirt and stains, which is appreciated, but we had to ask them to clean under the 11 inch overhang that is clearly visible from the couch.
- Last, trying to get a response from the same customer service rep we worked with prior to installation, who was extremely helpful and responsive at the time, has not been possible. They have not yet responded to our concerned email and phone call.
I would recommend letting them cut and polish for you, but I would do the installation myself.
