I purchased Kenmore Elite 31552 top load washer, and it was delivered on Tuesday afternoon (as promised). And that's where the good news ended. At the time of purchasing the new washing machine, the store sales associate explained to me that delivery men will be happy to install a new washing machine for free of charge, and for an additional $25.00 they will haul away my old washing machine at the time of delivery. But when the new washing machine was delivered, those delivery people refused to install a new washing machine. Worse, they also refused to haul away my old washing machine. When I demanded for an explanation, one of them said to me, "We were told to deliver this new washing machine to your home, and that was it. We do not install this new washing machine for you, and we do not haul away your old washing machine. If you have a complaint, call Sears." In the end, those two hombres left me with uninstalled new washing machine. When I called Sears customer service, the customer representative could not explain to me why those two bad hombres did not install a new washing machine, and refuse to haul away an old washing machine. Way to go, Eddie Lampert! Update: Waste Management hauled away my old washer (thank God!!!). And Sears sent someone to install Kenmore Elite 31552 top load washer (6-days later).
There is very little left in this store. It looks like it could close at any time.
