Ron Smith's Refrigeration

Ron replaced a compressor for us and system would leak freon out after a 3 months, Ron said it was our lines and he would have to charge us for a recharge of freon, well to find the leak he quoted $4350.00 and to recharge would cost $1145.00, we had it recharged and figure it would get us pass the summer. Wrong it leaked out in 6 days. We called another company since Ron said we would have to pay him $4350.00 to fix and repair. The other company came out and not only fixed it and recharged it for $310.00 but showed us that the leak was were Ron welded the pipe at the compressor and said Ron should of covered it under his warranty that he did not weld the pipe very well, said it was a cold joint. Upon calling Ron with this news and photos, Ron said some nasty things to me. And would not return the $1145.00 or cover anything. This guy is a CROOK, the other service guy also looked at other items Ron was to replace with compressor and showed us they were never replaced, that in fact they were original. I will never deal with RON SMITH AGAIN, he is very dishonest and will not stand behind his bad workmanship.

Do not do business with this company. Terrible service and very rude attitude. Ron would not honor our warranty for a HVAC system he installed and we later found out his installation of duct work was not the correct size for our home. He cuts corners and won't service problems after-the-fact.
