Really nice park away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Annapolis. We've been here a couple times in the past but now that they have re-opened their Dog Beach we'll definitely be visiting more as our golden retriever loves to swim. There are lots of different trails for all skill levels, I prefer hiking besides bodies of water and the South River is beautiful so it's a good fit for us. They even have a gazebo with a little bridge over a small pond which is great for photo opps and last weekend they had vendors to celebrate Earth Day, plus admission was free to celebrate. The dog beach is a bit smaller than Downs Park and not fenced in but it wasn't at all that busy on Sunday so our dog was able to get a lot of exercise in. The restrooms are clean and usually have water bowls for dogs outside plus they even have a handheld shower so you can wash your dog off after swimming.
