Quality Inn

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I usually don't take the time to leave a negative review, but we had a terrible experience with this hotel. We arrived to find a very small parking lot and sheltered parking but the grounds were dirty overall. As we sat in the car, we could smell marijuana. We got our keys and checked in, but the front desk staff were in t-shirts and leggings which felt unprofessional. We waited as they stepped in the back room to talk about an issue with one of the rooms before they helped us. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. We headed to our rooms and had read a negative review about the elevator, so we decided to try the stairs. As soon as we opened the stairwell door, we were hit with a horrible smell of urine and feces. The stairwell was dirty and clearly not taken care of. We covered our noses and walked up. As I went to open the door to our floor, there were some kind of bugs on the door too. When we got to our room, we couldn't go inside because our keys would not unlock the door. So we went back to the front desk to fix the problem. We told them about the smell and had them fix our keys. At that point, we went to the car and decided that we didn't feel comfortable staying at this location. We went to cancel our reservation without even seeing our room, but had seen enough. The front desk didn't even sound upset that we were canceling or ask why. They did refund my money entirely which is why they deserve 1 star. We left and stayed at another Quality Inn ironically and it was a night and day difference.
