Olivins Tasting Room - Aged Infused Fine Olive Oil & Vinegars

My wife and I visited the day before Christmas while visiting family. The staff was friendly and helpful, and samples were plentiful. However, one one the containers of bread samples was beginning to mold. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, avoided the moldy container and tried a number of samples. Several of the samples had a disturbingly thick consistency. Evidently, infused balsamic that is stored improperly for too long becomes bacteria laden sludge. My wife and I came down with food poisoning on Christmas day as a result while rest of our family was perfectly fine. They ate all the same things as we had in the days before, except for the samples at Olivins. We are so disappointed that food safety is not up to par. We decided that we couldn't trust the balsamic we purchased and because we could not return it ended up in the trash.
