I have been an exclusive customer of this Timonium, MD Zips location for several years and have recently stopped going there completely because of my atrocious experience. At the beginning of the year (Feb - 2017) I noticed I was missing one of my men’s dress shirts. I exclusively took all of my dress shirts plus other items to this specific location weekly. When I made the staff and manager aware of the situation they neglected to call me back to follow up for several weeks and were conveniently never there when I was there. It was only after 10 calls in to the Manager when I finally was able to be connected and I got an extremely rude answer that said we looked via the cameras and you're not missing anything. She basically called me a liar. This upset me very much and I explained that I am missing a dress shirt and I gave her the description of it again and she quickly dismissed my claim and hung up on me. This was a white men’s button down dress shirt with brown stripes size 17 1/2 34 Nordstrom Smart Care shirt valued at $60. After this experience I decided to never return to this store and make everyone I know aware of the situation via my personal network and social media. Prior to this experience this store had already damaged another shirt and had destroyed about 6 other shirts buttons. So a few weeks ago, I again noticed I had been missing another men's dress shirt (French blue) same size and make, etc....I don't inventory my cloths (maybe I should) but this was yet another one that I had went missing at the same time and the only place it could have been lost was Zips Timonium as this was the only place I took my dry cleaning. This leads me to wonder how many other shirts am I also missing?? I know for a fact that this location had a period where their computer systems were broken and they were hand checking each item in. This was right around when my two shirts went missing. I was seeking compensation ($120.00) for my two missing shirts. I contacted a related organization that had contacts with the owner of this Zips regarding my experience. The owner Dennis McMahon eventually did contact me and he was very rude and dismissive towards me and did absolutely nothing to rectify my situation. The store Manager I dealt with (Carla?) was the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life. I plan to seek damages via my attorney and take the owner of this location to small claims court. I highly recommend DO Not take your clothing to this Zips location unless you want them to lose your stuff!!!
Went to this location two days in a row and the tailor was a no show. Not a single person spoke English and they were all standing around doing nothing. Went to Eddie's Cleaners in Cockeysville with no issues.
