Lisa Kates, M.D.

Disappointing experience trying to schedule an appointment. I was scheduled for an appointment in the afternoon, but the office called me the day before to cancel or reschedule. Apparently they didn't have enough patients scheduled in the afternoon so they wanted me to come in earlier (which I couldn't because of work) I guess they want back to back clients or it's not worth seeing someone. I was hoping to find a good dermatologist near my house, but I guess I'll have to keep looking...

Dr. Rick Brown is who I see in this practice. He's great. He's sharp, knows what to ask, and he can either explain things in plain English or doctor-ese if you want it. Best of all, if there's an over-the-counter or cheap solution for someone's problem, he'll tell you. Very polite, great bedside manner, but a straight-shooter, too. He's one of those doctors that once you see him, you'll get mad if you have to find someone else.

I would highly recommend the practice of Lisa Kates, MD. I have only been there once so far but I was made to feel they had all the time in the world for me. They were very informative. They answered all my questions. They didn't try to sell me any products. They dealt with the issues I made the appointment for and that was it. It was a great experience!
