Where to even start...Kay Jewelers at Harford mall is not the place to shop! This location does NOT come recommend. Customer service....rude. That's the best way to describe them. I dropped off a ring for sizing and I never received an email in my inbox or my spam. I had to call to check on my ring and come to find out they totally butchered my name. How do you mix up letters in a name and add a letter that isn't even in the name? I'm sure the email was written down wrong as well. I looked back at my yellow copy and my name and email were clear as day and written in all caps so it's less confusing. When I suggested maybe they called instead of email or called those customers who had not picked up their order after it being in the store for a week or so, because maybe they didn't get the email. It was a simple suggestion and a suggestion for bit of customer service. I mean because emails are totally flawless and never get messed up, right?? Please note the sarcasm. But when I suggest a phone call the gentleman responded with "no we don't do that because we could get 15 or more repairs in a day so we just don't call anymore". Okay so you mean you don't provide customer service anymore? Then when they handed me my ring I looked at it and it was filthy! I looked at my ring and said its dirty can you please clean it? I got the look that was "um you are lying there's no way", but then when they looked at the ring their face was in horror of yes it was filthy! Oh customer was actually right! I guess Kay Jewelers not only do not check to see if a customer has come to get their item but then fail to look at the items after repairs are made to ensure it looks good.
In a nutshell, customer service at Kay Jewelers was horrifying and I would not recommend this location or any Kay if this is how they treat their customers. I do not like their jewelry enough to ever go back. I can find better quality, better prices, and way better customer service elsewhere. Rude, rude, rude!
