My wife had genetic testing done in July of 2014. After the test was completed there was a misunderstanding about what our total out-of-pocket expense was, we then started the refund process. Here is the ridiculousness of the refund process: We filed for the refund on 9/26/2014; on 11/25/14 the refund was "approved"; 1/9/2015 the refund check was "issued"; and, as of 1/27/2015, we have still not received our refund of over $2,000. We were told today that the refund was still in "process". To add salt to the wound, they sent us a bill on 12/2/2014 for the agreed upon out-of-pocket expense. They have knowingly kept over $2,000 of our money for 4 months.
