How safe is the complex and the surrounding area?
Area seemed to be safe until I noticed a B tall guy, looking into each car one by one and I went there and ask if he needed help. However, he said, he is checking if they tow car in day time if people put stickers/permit on their dashboards or something. I explained he might need a guest parking permit from leasing office in order to park there. And I came back to my balcony. I noticed again he continued doing the same. I tried to call leasing office to inform and NO ANSWER as usual
-NO SALTING on walkways most of the snow days, many people slipped during black ice including me but thank god I didn’t get hurt.
So based on that, if you want cheapest way to live in an apartment go for it but I would add couple hundreds to live in much better place.
Are the apartments and grounds well maintained?
-There is pool but you need to buy wrist band from leasing office in order to get into the pool.
-Let me discuss most interesting and worst Laundry story, our basic need. Which caused me million hours of time waste. First I expected a normal laundry and I was never told during or before signing lease that they have grand ma’s generation’s laundry. It was like you have to connect it with kitchen sink with a long hose. Anyway, that first laundry machine messed my clothing and I complained multiple times even emailed them to resolve it, leasing office took 2 months to replace it. During this time I end up going to launder mate. After 2 months they replaced that with a very old nasty and ugly machine. I just didn’t feel like using it. Same case happened with 3rd one and after 6 months or so they finally ordered a new one which has basically similar version of the old one (had to connect to sink tap with hose). Also that didn’t fit under the kitchen counter. So they put that in my living room. I had to deal with it until I my lease ended.
-Water outage issue: happened multiple times during my stay there.
-Electricity: bill will kill you even for one bed.
-Condition of overall apartment was ok. Not that bad.
-Parking was an issue. Either you reserve it or look for parking all day long.
- Mice Issues
What is the nature of the daytime and nighttime activity at this apartment?
Generally it was quite and I never spent much time during day or weekends, I either worked or travelled most of the time. Night time, no parking even for guests. No social gathering I noticed.
How responsive is the apartment management?
Not at all to be honest. I have spent a lot of time waiting in the office to get help. I had issue with laundry, water outage and flood in the apartment .Never got help in a timely manner even though they mentioned some cases in emergency we get instant help. I almost thought of suing them because of all the issues and they didn’t even care.
Never heard anything on my security deposit. Even after emails and calls.
Over all experience was too bad
