The pharmacist on duty today at 4:15pm (black mid 30's didn't look at his name tag) needs reeducation on narcotic prescriptions. Current law requires narcotic scripts to be filled within 120 days of being written. I tried to explain this to the pharmacist, who insisted I was wrong, and wouldn't fill my Rx for Ritalin, which I only use as needed and the script was written about 110 days ago. It is disturbing that the pharmacist isn't up to date with regulations, and concerning in regard to how he may practice in other aspects of his job. For my own safety, I won't be filling prescriptions here anymore, in case the lack of education extends to the actual medication production. I strongly urge anyone reading this to follow suit.
