Top Field Apartments

Pros: Great, great, great location. It's tucked in a quite neighborhood that is away from any main roads, so it's very peaceful. The area is clean, and the apartments are nice. Cons: Be aware they charge you WAY TOO MUCH for water and trash pickup. We lived there temporarily while our house was being built, and I paid more three times more for water there than I ever did owning a home. They do some weird averaging thing to get per apartment costs. Keep this in mind when you are budgeting. Also, the staff was quite friendly when we were about to rent, and while we rented, but after we moved out, I sent a note asking when we'd get our security deposit back and got a very unhelpful response about how they legally have X number of days to send it. I was thrown off by that.

I lived here for 2 years. Generally, it was a nice place to live. We never had many issues while we were there. However, major issues arouse when we moved out. Like another post made here, we were charged over $1,000.00 for them to replace our carpet when we moved out. We were there for 2 years, and ordinary wear and tear was all that was done. We attempted to resolve the issue with the leasing office, and we were basically ignored and referred to a collections agency. Now we have to file a complaint with the state and file in small claims court also. All this because they, illegally I might add, sent us a bill and expected us to roll over and pay without question. I would NOT recommend living here. Even though our time there was ok, the hassle they create afterwards just isn't worth it.
