Child And Teen Wellness Center

I love Child and Teen Wellness Center. They are busy during peak periods but because we have gone there so long they know my family which saves us a lot of time. If you do not like to wait just asked the front desk when the peak periods are and avoid it. Dr. Parrish is my favorite because she really knows her stuff, I really trust her. The other doctors are good too but I like consistency for the kids and they love her. Also the front desk is always fun to catch up with. I love Meagan!!! When you call she is always positive and genuinely cares about the kids.

My children have been going here for a few years, so far I have had some horrible experiences, and then there are the great experiences with Dr. Block or Dr. Levy which keep us in that office. Today I had to settle to see a provider that I have not been happy with in the past, but due to the urgency of needing physical forms filled out for daycare, I went with what I could get. During the appointment I asked the provider if she could please fill out the ONE form that I needed in order for my daughter to start day care, to which she directed me to the front staff. Once I got up there, there was another form that I had to fill out JUST to request the physical form be filled out. And the kicker is, 7-10 days to have it filled out, and just like shipping prices, there were prices that varied for how soon you wanted the forms. So after leaving and NOT leaving or having my forms filled out. there is a lead test that is REQUIRED for my child to have done, so if this provider would have even taken 6 seconds to look them over, I could of had a form to have this test done. But now, I will have to now go back to the office just to have a lab slip printed. I work for a medical office and have for years, so I get it, I get there are rules and paper work is exhausting, however I had an appointment, I didnt just walk in demanding these be signed before I left. Another disappointing visit to this office. And meanwhile the entire visit was about 7 minutes in length, which I dont mind, because we all have stuff to do, but she literally could have taken 2 more to fill them out, which has been done every single visit before this.
