We were selling our house after a not-so-good renting experience that resulted in our house needing a lot of work. We had it completely remodeled and wanted to ensure we got the most bang for our buck. So, we decided to go with a staging company. Calm Castle gave us a super competitive quote compared to the two other companies we checked and she even gave us a military discount! We had heard both good and bad things about staging ("It's going to help your house sell faster." and "It's not worth it... you will pay the money and the market is going to do what it wants.") Well, I'm here to tell you that staging the house was the best idea we ever had! Not only did it help the house sell faster, but we were also able to sell it for more than others in our neighborhood and we got full asking price on our sale! Tenay and Andrea (the stagers) were amazing! We had to coordinate everything from online (email), since we live over seas in a different time zone. They were excellent at responding to my questions, getting the house set up and finally de-staging it after the sale was final.
