Batteries Plus Bulbs

Prices are reasonable; great staff and great location for me.

I purchased a replacement battery for Movado watch at Batteries Plus Bulbs Store at Watkins Park Plaza in Upper Marlboro, MD, and now my watch needs further repair. The sales person who replaced the battery did not replace and seal the back cover properly onto my Movado watch. I put the watch to wear once I returned to my car and I ran a couple of errands. I twice I noticed the time was lagging by about 15 minutes and I reset it. Then about 9:30 pm that night, I noticed the watch was 30 minutes behind so I took off the watch to discover no back cover on the watch. Research revealed there was a rubber gasket that probably was not replaced over the battery before replacing the back cover for proper closure. If the back cover was properly replaced and sealed the watch it would not have fell off. Update: Upon informing customer service about this issue, they made arrangements to fix my watch by replacing the back cover.
